Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar assured the DPWH infrastructure support that will certainly improve operation and boost the morale of the men and women of the Philippine National Police - Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A Calabarzon.
Secretary Villar inspected on Monday, March 9, 2020 the ongoing construction of infrastructure facilities under the convergence program between DPWH and PNP inside Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Calamba, Laguna.
Earlier, Villar served as the guest of honor and speaker in the flag raising ceremony of PNP PRO 4A Calabarzon.
Secretary Villar took the opportunity to commend the brave men and women of PNP Region 4, from generals led by Police Brigadier General Vicente D. Danao Jr. down to the police officer and non-uniformed staff for the dedication as public servants to secure our people’s safety.
Villar said that we lend honor to the raised flag in bearing in mind the PNP motto of “Service, Honor, and Justice”.
Among the support infrastructure projects presently being implemented by DPWH and also inspected by Secretary Villar at Camp Vicente Lim includes the P75.4 million five (5) storey Police Commissioned Officer’s Quarter 1 Building; P11.6 million two (2) storey Regional Police Security and Protection Units and Presidential Protection Division building; and the rehabilitation grandstand with the amount of P11.6 million.
