P33 million worth of multi-purpose buildings completed in Camarines Sur

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of P33.7 million worth of multi-purpose buildings and covered courts that will benefit residents of selected barangays in the province of Camarines Sur.

The completed buildings and covered courts are now being utilized in the Barangays of Mataoroc and Sagrada Familia in Minalabac; Maydaso, Tarusanan, and Del Rosario in Milaor; Bahay and Bagadion in Libmanan; Batang, Veneracion, and Burabod in Pamplona; and Buenavista and Del Pilar in Del Gallego.

“These facilities were constructed to serve as venues for various events conducted in the barangays especially educational and recreational activities that promote learning among the youth”, DPWH Region 5 Director Melvin B. Navarro said.

The twelve (12) completed projects were implemented by Camarines Sur 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) under 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
