Residents of Tagbilaran City can now enjoy faster and safer travel as The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of an access road along Teacher’s Village in San Isidro.

It is one of the public access roads from the Tagbilaran-Corella-Sikatuna-Loboc Road going to Teacher’s Village and the shortest alternate route from Libertad, Baclayon to the City of Tagbilaran.

The P23.2 million project involves concreting of 2-lane road with a total length of 1,000 meters. It also includes provision of reinforced lined canal and reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings.

The improved road will provide convenience to the traveling public and facilitate ease of access to basic services.

Civil works began on October 11, 2019 under the 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA) and completed last January 19, 2020.
