
Works are on-going for the building of a 64-bed capacity dormitory/isolation facility for frontliners in Cebu City.
Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the project which involves the conversion of container vans into a 16-bed capacity isolation facility at Lot 17, NOAH Complex, South Road Properties, Cebu City, is aimed for completion in October.
We hope to turn-over a fully-equipped dormitory to our Cebu City frontliners very soon. As a matter of fact, with the pace of construction, we see the completion of this facility by October 25, 2020, said Secretary Villar.
The dorm facility is furnished with air-condition units, sofa, toilet and bath, laundry area and common kitchen with complete amenities for the medical personnel.
The DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities headed by Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain provides technical guidance to the DPWH Cebu City District Engineering Office under the leadership of District Engineer Florida Pangilinan-Nuñez in the expeditious completion of the project.
