
To promote transparency and strong partnership with stakeholders, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sultan Kudarat 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) reported its 2019 accomplishments last December 2, 2019.
Sultan Kudarat Governor Suharto “Teng” Mangudadatu headed the 2019 Comprehensive Accomplishment Reporting at the Sultan Kudarat Gymnasium and Cultural Center in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat attended by local government officials and employees, national agencies heads and representatives, and other sector of the province.
Projects successfully implemented by DPWH Sultan Kudarat 1st DEO last year includes the asphalt overlaying along Dulawan-Marbel Road, Marbel-Allah Valley-Cotabato Road, and Kidapawan-Allah Jct. Road costing P56.4 million, P51.0 million, and P37.1 million respectively.
According to District Engineer Amer T. Pundag, the projects’ purpose is to transform existing roads and make them more convenient and safer improving both public commute and transport of goods in the area.
The reporting of the annual accomplishments of Sultan Kudarat 1st DEO, which happens every first Monday of December, is part of the DEO’s efforts to make DPWH a leading transparent and credible public service provider through quality infrastructures responsive to the needs of all stakeholders in Sultan Kudarat.
