Zero Potholes Campaign at Quirino Highway

The Quezon IV District Engineering Office headed by OIC-District Engineer Rody A. Angulo, intensifies its Zero Potholes campaign along Quirino Highway in the Fourth District Of Quezon Province on this month of September in preparation to the Feast of Peñafrancia in Naga City located at the Bicol Region.

District Maintenance Engineer Crisanto M. Tadiosa, Jr. supervised the potholes patching activities conducted by its maintenance crew along the highway to repair the damaged pavements. This action will keep the road section smooth and in good condition for the safety and convenience of the travelers who will attend the event.

The Feast of Peñafrancia, which is celebrated yearly on the month of September, attracts thousands of devotees from all over the country, thus, raising the number of vehicles passing through Quirino Highway during this period.

The said highway which is 29.787 kilometers in length is the only gateway to Bicol and Visayas Regions by land transport, thus, its maintenance is a top priority of this District.
