An improved Sagbayan-Danao Road completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) now ensures a quick and safe travel for motorists in Inabanga, Bohol.
“When we opened this upgraded road to traffic, travel time from the municipality of Sagbayan to Danao was reduced from 45 minutes to only 25 minutes”, said Secretary Mark A. Villar.
“Since this 2-lane Sagbayan-Danao Road is a connectivity highway, enhancement in land transport will also aid in boosting major industries such as farming, fishing, and mat-weaving”, added Secretary Villar.
The project covers the reconstruction of 842 linear meters of concrete pavement.
The road project was implemented by DPWH Bohol 1st District Engineering Office in the amount of P32.4 million.
