
Motorists and residents are now benefitting from improved traffic flow along Daang Maharlika with the completion of the road widening project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Pamplona, Camarines Sur.
DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the road widening from two (2) to four (4) lanes have been successfully delivered at the portion of national highway at Barangay San Gabriel, Pamplona.
The 1.2 lane kilometer road project included paving of shoulder, drainage construction, and slope protection works with a total cost of P24.2-million funded under the 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Secretary Villar said the project will provide better mobility that will directly benefit people near the project area.
“Despite the pandemic, we continue to undertake more road improvement projects to stimulate economic activities nationwide,” added Secretary Villar.
