The Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office No. IV-A (DPWHRO-IVA) held a voluntary blood donation drive on March 28, 2022.
The bloodletting activity was organized by DPWHRO-IVA Administrative Division, in coordination with the Department of Health Region IV-A, Calamba City Health Office, San Pablo Colleges Medical Center, and TV5 Alagang Kapatid.
A total of 201 personnel from the Regional Office and the 16 District Engineering Offices (DEOs) participated in the blood drive, collecting 201 pints.
Regional Director Jovel G. Mendoza, one of the donors, underscored the importance of participating in such live-saving program as it is more needed than ever in this time of COVID crisis. He thanked the organizers, the blood donors and volunteers, and the partner agencies for the big turnout of the program.
