Locals, especially farmers in Aleosan, North Cotabato no longer travel through muddy roads with the completion of an access road by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The 426-meter concrete road project implemented by DPWH Cotabato 1st District Engineering Office in Barangay San Mateo, Aleosan, connecting to Pupoyon, Dualing now cuts travel time between neighboring municipalities and hastens the delivery of high value commercial crops, supporting the rubber, palm oil, and coconut industries of the province.
“The construction of farm-to-market roads is being prioritized by DPWH to cater to the growing needs of thriving local industries”, said Secretary Roger G. Mercado.
