P83.6M Road Project Completed in Zambo del Norte

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the concrete paving of 2.8-kilometers of road in Panganuran, Zamboanga del Norte.

DPWH Secretary Roger G. Mercado disclosed that the paved Siocon – Sirawai – Sibuco – Limpapa Road now facilitates faster and more convenient transport of goods and services for the residents going to and from the town proper.

With a total project cost of P83.6-million, the project implemented by DPWH Zamboanga del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office also involves excavation, stone masonry, grouted ripraps, and reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings.

Meanwhile, DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia also reported the completion of the 12-meter road with slips and slope protection along Sindangan-Liloy Road that provides safer road network for tourists visiting Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

“Rest assured that DPWH Region 9 is fast-tracking the completion of more infrastructure projects in line with our mandate to provide faster travel and protect lives and structures from national disasters,” said Secretary Mercado.
