Officials and employees of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Central Office observed earthquake safety procedures during this year’s first National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 9:00 AM. The country-wide earthquake simulation under NSED is conducted quarterly to prepare for the “Big One” by equipping the people with proper strategies and essential knowledge such as performing "Duck, Cover, and Hold" and moving in to the designated evacuation areas.
