Updates on the Status of National Roads and Bridges due to Tropical Cyclone “Kristine” October 28, 2024 as of 12:00 NN

Thirteen (13) national road sections are closed to traffic: one (1) in Region II, two (2) in Region III, three (3) in Region IV-A, one (1) in Region IV-B, five (5) in Region V, and one (1) in Region VII due to high water elevation, flooding, collapsed road, landslide, fallen electric posts, silted pavement, road collapse, rockslide, and road slip.

Three (3) national bridges are unpassable: one (1) in Region II, one (1) in Region IV-A, and one (1) in Region V due to flooding and collapsed bridge.

Also, fourteen (14) national road sections have limited access: one (1) in CAR, two (2) in Region IV-A, and eleven (11) in Region V due to road slip, flashflood, scoured RCPC and washed-out surfacing materials, collapsed pavement, and flooding.

All national roads and bridges in other affected regions are passable to all types of vehicles as of captioned date and time.
