Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary and NIA Board of Director Representative Manuel M. Bonoan welcomed key officials and Board of Directors members from the National Irrigation Administration (NIA), National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Office of the President, and the Department of Agriculture (DA) in the 1012th NIA Regular Board Meeting held on February 20, 2025 at the DPWH Central Office, Port Area, Manila. Secretary Bonoan was joined by Undersecretary Maria Catalina E. Cabral and Project Manager Abdulfatak Pandapatan as DPWH alternate representatives in the meeting, which discusses various dam and water irrigation system projects to benefit communities in the vital areas of Luzon, reinforcing the joint effort of relevant agencies in advancing the country’s irrigation systems and agricultural sector.
