Four engineers from DPWH XII topped the nationwide concluding examination of the simultaneous 1st Batch CY 2016 Comprehensive Training for Provisional Accreditation of DPWH Field Engineers.
Ranking 7th Place was Engr. Gershon T. Insular of Cotabato II DEO based in Midsayap, North Cotabato while Engr. Moises Glenn Hollite of the Regional Office was at 9th Place. Also among the 10th Placers were Abdul Gafar M. Abas from the Regional Office and Engr. Joylene T. Celeste of Cotabato II DEO.
They were considered brightest among the 39 future Project Engineers who hurdled the 21-day comprehensive training comprising the first batch trainees of CY 2016.
Director Reynaldo S. Tamayo congratulated the topnotchers and expressed his pride of having honed smart engineers.
He also cited that the technical and managerial capabilities acquired by the newly-hired Engineer II will boost their performance as future Project Engineers. They are among the 1,396 additional technical workforce hired nationwide.
The training was conducted last April 11-May 6, 2016 wherein the engineers learned through lectures and output analysis of their field exposures.
The comprehensive training is conducted simultaneously in all 16 Regional Offices nationwide and divided into 4 pre-scheduled batches per memorandum of Secretary Rogelio L. Singson.
