VILLAR: Skyway Stage 3 Plaza Dilao Ramp to open in July

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar announced on Friday, July 5, 2019 the opening of Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 Plaza Dilao ramp, which is aimed for completion this July.

"Construction of Skyway Stage 3 is in full blast. We are working 24/7 to deliver the infrastructure this July," Villar noted.

During the inspection, Secretary Villar noted that the project, which will effectively connect NLEX and SLEX, will be "substantially completed" within the year.

Road and Drainage Improvement Project in Caloocan City Now Complete

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the road and drainage improvement along Crispulo St. in Barangay 180, Caloocan City since its commencement in May 2018.

In his report, DPWH NCR Director Ador G. Canlas said that the upgrade improvement of the road undertaken has widened it into two (2) lanes for the length of 474.00 meters with a total cost of P18.985 million.

Rehabilitation of Capt. Henry Javier Street in Pasig City now complete

Motorists passing along the highly commercialized area of Pasig City can now have smoother ride with the completion of the road rehabilitation project along Capt. Henry Javier Street in Pasig City.

Villar said that DPWH National Capital Region, under the leadership of Director Ador Canlas, completed the replacement of deteriorated concrete pavement of the four (4) lane major city road severly affected over the years by various excavations by utility companies.

New evacuation center rises in Pangasinan

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar announced the completion of another gender-friendly and PWD-inclusive evacuation center in the municipality of Dasol in the province of Pangasinan.

Citing a report from DPWH-Region 1 Director Ronnel M. Tan, Secretary Mark A. Villar said that P36-million was allocated to construct the two-storey building facility that can accommodate about 500 individuals during calamities.

Citing a report from District Engineer Danilo U. Tabilas of DPWH-Cagayan Third Distict Engineering Office, Secretary Villar said that the widening of 72-linear meter Cabbo Bridge in Barangay Cabbo will benefit residents and motorists coming from the Barangays of Cabbo, Cabasan, Sisim, Nanarian, and Callao in Peñablanca.
