DPWH Announces Completion of Rehabilitation of Lullutan Bridge in Ilagan City, Isabela

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the rehabilitation and strengthening of the Lullutan Bridge along Ilagan-Delfin Albano-Mallig Road in Barangay Lullutan, Ilagan City, Isabela.

DPWH Regional Office 2 Director Reynaldo C. Alconcel, in his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary Eugenio R. Pipo Jr., said that the completed rehabilitation work on the 500-meter Lullutan Bridge involved replacing the expansion joint, installing missing high-tension bolts, and reconstructing the deck slab.

DPWH Paves Scenic Tourism Road in Bulan, Sorsogon

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a 3.95-kilometer section of an ongoing access road that will provide a fast, convenient, affordable, and scenic access to the tourist destinations in the southern part of Sorsogon Province.

In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 5 Director Virgilio C. Eduarte cited the recent completion of two (2) road projects in the town of Bulan that form part of a tourism road project dubbed Bulan-Matnog-Sta. Magdalena-Bulusan Road.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a 3.95-kilometer section of an ongoing access road that will provide a fast, convenient, affordable, and scenic access to the tourist destinations in the southern part of Sorsogon Province.

In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 5 Director Virgilio C. Eduarte cited the recent completion of two (2) road projects in the town of Bulan that form part of a tourism road project dubbed Bulan-Matnog-Sta. Magdalena-Bulusan Road.

DPWH Completes Road Rehab in Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has upgraded and reconstructed the damaged section along Pagadian-Zamboanga City Road in the municipality of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.

In her report, DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said that the project involved the repair of 3.8 kilometers of two (2) middle lanes of an existing four (4)-lane road traversing Barangay Camanga.

“This project aims to enhance road safety and facilitate smoother travel for residents and commuters, benefitting about 40,000 locals in the area,” said Director Dia.

Contract for 59.4-Kilometer TPLEX Extension to San Juan, La Union Signed

A ₱23.36 billion Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contract has been signed between the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and San Miguel Holdings Corp. (SMHC) for the construction of 59.4-kilometer extension of Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) all the way to the surfing capital of the north in San Juan, La Union.

Riverside communities in Palimbang and Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat are now better protected against flooding with the completion of two (2) flood control structures by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

The completed projects identified by DPWH Region 12 Director Basir M. Ibrahim are the construction of 400-meter riverbank protection structure in Barangay Baranayan, Municipality of Palimbang and the 140-meter riverwall in Barangay Ala, Municipality of Esperanza.
