The Quality Management System (QMS) set up at the Head Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) including two (2) Regional Offices and two (2) District Engineering Offices assessed against the requirements by the Anglo Japanese American (AJA) Registrars has been formally registered as ISO 9001:2008 Certified. I.S.O. Certification is part of the Department’s program for improving effectiveness and efficiency in serving the public. The DPWH ISO 9001:2008 Registration Certificate was handed over by (at right) Mr. Paul B. Bagatsing, Vice-President of the AJA Registrars Philippines to DPWH Secretary Rogelio L. Singson joined by Undersecretary Raul C. Asis, Overall Quality Management Representative, and Assistant Secretary B. Elizabeth E. Yap, Team Leader of DPWH ISO Core Team.
