
Motorists are advised that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue its reblocking activities along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and other roads in Quezon City starting 11 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020.
DPWH – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas said that the road repair activities in EDSA will cover the southbound direction from Guzent Inc. – Construction Equipment Sales & Rental to Bansalangin Street, 5th lane from sidewalk and from Approach B of P. Tuazon Flyover to Approach A of Boni Serrano Flyover, 3rd lane from MRT line; and northbound direction after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Repair works will also be undertaken at the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue from J. Manuel to Sergeant Rivera Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk; westbound direction of General Luis Street from SB Diversion Road to Samonte Street and Elliptical Road from corner Maharlika Street, 9th lane from outer sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected traffic slowdown in affected areas, until road sections re-opened at 5 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020.
