The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake road repair on parts of the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) this weekend.
Based on a report from DPWH National Capital Region (NCR) Director Nomer Abel P. Canlas, Secretary Roger G. Mercado announced that road works will begin 11 PM Friday, February 4, 2021.
The affected areas are the northbound direction of EDSA Quezon City from Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk; and at southbound direction EDSA Caloocan City before Benin Street, 4th lane from sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes as traffic slowdown are expected in the affected areas.
Secretary Mercado has directed to speed up the road construction at EDSA and to facilitate re-opening to vehicular traffic of the repaired lanes by 5:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2022.
