DPWH Resumes EDSA Reblocking this Weekend

Several sections of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue in the cities of Quezon, Caloocan, and Pasay will be temporarily closed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) over the weekend to undertake rehabilitation of damaged pavement.

DPWH National Capital Region (DPWH NCR) Director Nomer Abel P. Canlas identified affected sections at the south bound direction of EDSA as: 1) in front of A. de Jesus Street, fifth lane from sidewalk in Caloocan City; and 2) from Panay Avenue to Mother Ignacia Street, second lane from sidewalk in Quezon City.

Simultaneously, road works will be implemented along three (3) EDSA north bound sections in Quezon City namely: 1) near Quirino Highway exit; 1) from White Plains to B. Serrano Road, second lane from sidewalk; 3) after Anapolis Street to before Boni Serrano Flyover, second lane from MRT Line and after Serrano Flyover to before flyover P. Tuazon Flyover, second lane from MRT Line.

In Pasay City, the affected northbound section of EDSA will be undertaken at the innermost lane (Bus Way) from E. Rodriguez Street going to C. Jose Street.

Repair works will start at 11:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2022 and will be completed by 5:00 AM on Monday, March 14, 2022.
