DPWH Completes 18.97-Km Marawi Transcentral Road funded by Japan

Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar led on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 the inauguration rites signalling the completion of the 18.97 kilometer Marawi Transcentral Road Phase 1 in the province of Lanao Del Sur.

“We do not just establish a landmark in a site facing scenic Lake Lanao but this monument area also reminds that we have the rising and setting sun synonymous with renewal, hope, peace, and wonder for the City of Marawi is back to life, declared Secretary Villar following the unveiling of the project marker.

DPWH ‘Bigay Trabaho’ Fills Over 1k Jobs; In 1 Month

Secretary Mark Villar’s Bigay Trabaho Program has provided a thousand jobs in a period of one (1) month to help improve Filipino’s life in this pandemic time.

Secretary Villar announced that the Department of Public Works and Highways’ online job fair which was able to hire as much as 1,090 workers nationwide from its launch in August 9, 2021 up to this date will still be up and running through its different platforms via Landline no. DPWH Completes P25-Million Road Concreting Projects in Zamboanga del Norte

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has paved 1.5-kilometer of roads in the Municipality of Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.

Based on a report submitted by DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia, DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar stated that the two (2) projects were accomplished along Lopoc-Dansalan Road and Barangay Ubay, in Labason, Zamboanga del Norte with an allocated budget of P15-million and P10-million, respectively.
