DPWH Delivers Vital Infra Projects in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently completed P173-million worth of infrastructure projects that now benefit residents and businesses in the bustling City of Gapan in Nueva Ecija.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing reports from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, identified the projects in Gapan City as the flood control structure in Barangay San Vicente and road maintenance works in Barangay Malimba and Barangay Baluarte.

Far-flung communities in the Municipality of Talaingod, Davao del Norte are the beneficiaries of a newly-constructed access road by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, based on a report by DPWH Regional Office 11 OIC-Director Judy B. Cordon, said that the DPWH Davao del Norte District Engineering Office (DEO) implemented the construction of an access road linking Sitio Nasilaban to Balay Lupowanan in Barangay Palma Gil.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on-going road widening activities along the Metro Iloilo Radial Road (R-4) in the municipality of Leganes, Iloilo will relieve traffic congestion and facilitate easier travel for motorists and communities.

DPWH Iloilo 4th District Engineering Office is currently undertaking the widening of the existing 1.7-kilometer, two (2)-lane road section from Barangay San Vicente to Barangay Guihaman.

Travelers now experience more efficient and safer road infrastructure after the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed improvements along Manila North Road (MNR) in Angeles City, Pampanga.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino said that the preventive maintenance projects in the amount of P202.46 million along MNR were implemented by DPWH Pampanga Third District Engineering Office (DEO) on two (2) segments.

7 Roads Remain Closed in CAR, Region 1 as Clearing Ops Continue

As of 10:00 am Saturday, September 2, 2023, four (4) roads in the Cordillera Administrative Region and three (3) roads in Ilocos Region remain impassable due to pavement sinking, roadcut, landslides, and scoured bridge abutment brought by Southwest Monsoon enhanced by tropical cyclone “Goring”.
