Senate President Franklin M. Drilon and DPWH Secretary Rogelio L. Singson led on February 28, 2014 the Hard Hat Ceremony for the construction of Iloilo Convention Center. The convention center project within the Iloilo Business Park is considered to become venue of one of the Ministerial Meetings of the upcoming 2015 APEC Summit in the Philippines.
