36-Bed Capacity Modular Hospital Underway in Las Piñas General Hospital

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar recently inspected an ongoing modular hospital being built by the DPWH to aid in the COVID-19 Program of city of Las Piñas.

Secretary Villar, together with his sister and Las Piñas Rep. Camille A. Villar, checked the project which is being implemented inside the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center (LPGH-STC) in Bernabe Compound, Diego Cera Ave, Pulanglupa I.

DPWH Goes on Construction Fast-Track for Modular Hospital Facility at Lung Center

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) continue to support the demand for healthcare service as it ramped up hospital construction project at the Lung Center of the Philippines (LCP).

Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Health Facilities will further boost the LCP healthcare system’s capacity with the expected completion of three (3) modular hospital cluster units with a total of 66 isolation patient rooms by end of June 2021.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is in the process of improving the Sindangan-Liloy Road section in Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte with two (2) on-going road upgrading and widening projects.

Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the DPWH Zamboanga del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) aims to expand capacity of the Sindangan-Liloy Road from existing two (2) lanes into four (4) lanes.

3 Buildings Completed for Uniformed Personnel in Bukidnon

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar announced the completion of three (3) multi-purpose buildings inside Camp Osito D. Bahian, in Malaybalay City Bukidnon.

The P30-million multi-purpose building projects is a joint project by the Department of National Defense and DPWH through the Bukidnon 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) under the program Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayaan at Seguridad (TIKAS).

The buildings will benefit the uniformed personnel of the 403rd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division of the Camp Osito D. Bahian.

DPWH Rehabilitates Bridge along Manila North Road in La Union

Motorists including delivery trucks traversing Manila North Road going Ilocos Region can now have safer trips with the rehabilitation of the 60-meter Carlatan Bridge in San Fernando City, La Union.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the DPWH La Union First District Engineering Office has completed the three (3) months repair of the bridge to provide immediate relief to road users traversing the national highway in Barangay Carlatan.
