Paved Road Aids Rural Communities in Guimba, Nueva Ecija

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) road improvement projects costing P72.9 million in Guimba, Nueva Ecija that will enhance delivery of goods and services.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing reports from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, said that the DPWH Nueva Ecija First District Engineering Office (DEO) has completed the concrete paving of two (2) sections of the local road that connects Barangays Nagpandayan and Agcano in Guimba.

DPWH Completes Bridge Project in Calabayog City, Samar

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the upgrading of a bridge in Barangay Cabatuan, Oquendo District, Calbayog City, Samar.

According to a report submitted by DPWH Region 8 Director Edgar B. Tabacon to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, the ₱13.8-million Barral II Bridge project involves the construction of a 22.8-meter long, double-lane structure.

DPWH Completes Bridge Project in Calabayog City, Samar

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the upgrading of a bridge in Barangay Cabatuan, Oquendo District, Calbayog City, Samar.

DPWH Continues Widening of Metro Iloilo Radial Road

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has widened a portion of Metro Iloilo Radial Road (R-4 Bypass Road) in the municipality of Leganes to alleviate traffic congestion and ensure better connection among towns in Central Iloilo.

Costing P79.1 million, the project involves widening of a 1.54-lane kilometer portion of road from two (2) lanes to four (4) lanes with bike lane, curb and gutter, sidewalk, slope protection on both sides, and provision of road safety features to safeguard motorists.

DPWH Region 2 Director Reynaldo C. Alconcel reported to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary for Regional Operations Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr. that the ₱15-million public market building is now catering the needs of the community for a variety of produce such as meat, fish, dairy products, baked goods, coffee, spices, and various domestic specialties.

Two (2) river dike projects with combined cost of P190 million were recently-constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to safeguard flood-prone barangays in Nabua, Camarines Sur.
