DPWH Completes Slope Protection Work along Gumain River in Floridablanca, Pampanga

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently constructed a 110.88-lineal-meter slope protection along Gumain River in Barangay Cabangcalan, Floridablanca, Pampanga.

DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, in his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, said that the DPWH Pampanga Second District Engineering Office (DEO) oversaw the implementation of the P19.58-million project funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA).

DPWH Builds New Flyover in Bataan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started to build a new four (4)-lane flyover in Pilar, Bataan.

DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain said that sub-structure works are on-going for the construction of Ala-Uli Steel Flyover in Barangay Ala Uli, Pilar to ease traffic congestion at the intersection of Gov. J.J. Linao National Road and Roman Superhighway (formerly Bataan Provincial Highway).

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started to build a new four (4)-lane flyover in Pilar, Bataan.

In his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan following an occular inspection, Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain said that sub-structure works are on-going for the construction of Ala-Uli Steel Flyover in Barangay Ala Uli, Pilar to ease traffic congestion at the intersection of Gov. J.J. Linao National Road and Roman Superhighway (formerly Bataan Provincial Highway).

DPWH Chief Orders Strict Compliance with Laws, Policies for Safer and Disaster-Resilient Projects

All Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) offices nationwide were instructed to reassess systems to ensure strict compliance of laws and policies relative to high-hazard areas, no build zones and national protected areas in the implementation of infrastructure projects.

In a memorandum, DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan ordered all Service Directors, Bureau Directors, Project Directors, Regional Directors, and District Engineers to strictly adhere to laws, in view of the Department's thrust to implement infrastructure projects that mitigate disaster risk.

PH-Japan Bolster Ties to Push ‘Build Better More’ Infra Projects

Embassy of Japan in the Philippines Ambassador Kazuhiko Koshikawa paid a courtesy visit to Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and assured the Japanese government continued support to the Philippine government’s infrastructure push to ‘Build Better More’ under the President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. administration.

The two (2) leaders talked on coordinating bilaterally and to push forward the fruition of more infrastructure projects.

P46M Road Reduces Travel Time in Zambo Del Sur

Transport of local goods and services in Molave, Zamboanga del Sur has now become easier with the concrete paving works completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said that the construction of the 1.67 kilometer project along C NRJ Bag-ong Argao - Sto.Rosario - Simata -Silangit -Bag-ong Gutlang -Bag-ong Ariosa -NRJ Litapan Diversion Road in Barangay Silangit is now aiding residents and farmers as travel time has been reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
