Japanese Government Assists RP Infra Development

The Government of Japan will consider assistance to the Philippines on water resources management particularly the construction of dams, sabo technology, retarding basin and other flood control structures including sharing of expertise and technologies.

Visiting Japanese Minister Akihiro Ohta of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is open to the proposal of Public Works and Highways Secretary Rogelio L. Singson in providing cooperation program on flood mitigation and management.

DPWH-NCR Conducts Road Repair Along C-5 This Weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will undertake reblocking and road repair starting 10 p.m. Friday August 14, 2015 along C-5 Road in Pasig City.

DPWH, with clearance from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), will conduct undertake concrete reblocking from at the innermost lane north bound direction of C-5 from FR Cement to Frontage of Petron Gas Station going to Lanuza St.

DPWH Rehabilitates Regalado Bridge in Quezon City

The on-going rehabilitation/reconstruction/strengthening of Regalado North Bridge along Regalado North Avenue, Quezon City has an allocation of ₱27,708,000.00 and is being implemented by DPWH-NCR Quezon City I District Engineering Office (QCFDEO).

This bridge has manifested signs of wear and tear, thus its rehabilitation/reconstruction/strengthening is very timely and a part of the agency’s effort to prevent or mitigate disaster. Its completion will benefit the people living and working in the northern part of Quezon City and the motorists coming from Caloocan City and Bulacan

Green Building at Barangay U.P. Campus

A 3-storey Multi-Purpose Building, also known as the “Green Building” at Brgy. UP Campus was recently completed. The so called “green building” adopted design construction and management methods that are environmentally and socially responsible, safe and healthy.

With an allocation of ₱3.5 Million, this 3-storey multi-purpose building with deck including site development was implemented by the Quezon City Second District Engineering Office (QCSDEO) of the DPWH-NCR under contract by R.A. Moya Construction Corporation.
