Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Office II conducted its first management conference at the Regional Office Conference Hall in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan province.
Headed by Regional Director Melanio C. Briosos, the conference was attended by District Engineers, Division Chiefs and Regional Office Staff to tackle the latest policy directions of Secretary Mark A. Villar.

Officials and employees of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has once again showed their preparedness in the event of an earthquake as they participate in the 1st Nationwide Earthquake Drill for 2019 in cooperation with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) held on February 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. The earthquake drill which includes duck, cover and hold demonstration and people moving out from DPWH Building aims to evaluate the effectiveness of contingency plans and protocols in relation to earthquake scenario.
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bacolod City District Engineering Office met with the local officials and residents of Barangay 16 in Bacolod City to tackle the issue of road obstructions and check the flow of traffic and pedestrians in the area.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar announced that a faster and better road connection between Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental is about to be completed as DPWH is almost done with the paving of the Kibawe-Kadingilan-Kalilangan (KKK) Road in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao.
“DPWH Regional Office 10, under the leadership of Regional Director Zenaida Tan, undertook the improvement of the 53.4-kilometer national road that forms a loop with the Maramag-Pangantukan-Kalilangan Road to Sayre Highway via Municipality of Kadingilan,” said DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar.
