The Tacloban City By-Pass Road in the province of Leyte will be completely passable next year as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) continue the construction of the project’s final phases.
The 8.23-kilometer road project, which has been carried out in five phases since 2015, is designed to decongest traffic along Maharlika Highway traversing the cities of Palo and Tacloban.
Construction works for the four-lane road implemented in the first three phases has been completed last year while the fourth and fifth phases are up for completion in August 2019.
