DPWH Optimizing Effort in the Completion of Panguil Bay Bridge Project Now at 89%

The much-awaited inter-island bridge project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Northern Mindanao is on the verge of completion this year, with funding poised to play a pivotal role.

Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain, in-charge of DPWH infrastructure flagship projects, said that civil works for the 3.17-kilometer Panguil Bay Bridge Project connecting Tangub City, Misamis Occidental, and Tubod, Lanao del Norte is targeted to finish this 2024 with the necessary funding remains paramount to ensure the project's full completion.

Well-lit Road Improves Access in Polangui, Albay

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a project which now provides a safer and more convenient access between two (2) agricultural barangays in the town of Polangui, Albay Province.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 5 Director Virgilio C. Eduarte said that the DPWH Albay 3rd District Engineering Officer (DEO) has turned-over its recently-constructed road project connecting Barangay Gotob and Barangay Pinagdapugan.

A safer, sturdier concrete bridge was recently-constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to replace an unstable makeshift bridge used by residents of Barangay 176, Caloocan City.

In her report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan said that the new permanent bridge in Barangay 176 was implemented by the DPWH Metro Manila 3rd District Engineering Office to provide a safer access between Bigaa Street and Malanting Street.

The Department of Public Works and Highways has completed two (2) infrastructure projects that will benefit motorists and residents in the towns of Laur and Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office III Director Roseller A. Tolentino said that slope protection walls along Jct. Tablang-Gabaldon Road in Barangay San Vicente, Laur, Nueva Ecija was implemented and completed in the amount of P15.01 million by DPWH Nueva Ecija 2nd District Engineering Office.
