Flood Mitigation Works Along Cagayan River Basin Nears Completion
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is fast-tracking the on-going construction of slope protection works along portion of Cagayan River Basin to mitigate soil erosion and flooding threats in Barangay Mozzozzin Sur, Sta. Maria, Isabela.
DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH Regional Office 2 said that the construction progress of the flood mitigation structure along the Cagayan River Basin is now 95 percent and is targeted to be completed in May 2024.
