8-Storey Marikina Polytechnic College Bldg Project Nearing Completion

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is currently working on the 6th and final phase of the 8-storey school building project for Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC) in Barangay Sta. Elena, Marikina City.

DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan, in her report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, disclosed the status of the MPC Building 3 Project Phase 6 which just commenced civil works for Phase 6 early this month.

According to Director Malaluan, the building project has received a total allocation of P350 million since 2021.

Paved Access Roads Benefit Rural Communities in Iloilo

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has finished the concrete paving of two (2) access roads to improve accessibility in the municipalities of Leganes and Leon, Iloilo.

DPWH Region 6 Director Sanny Boy Oropel identified the completed projects as the construction of a 765-lineal meter, two (2)-lane concrete farm-to-market road (FMR) in Sitio Ubos, Barangay Lapayon, Leganes, and another 2-lane portland concrete cement pavement road with a length of 319.4 lineal meters in Barangay Tagsing, Leon.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a road lighting project for the purpose of improving safety of night time motorists traversing a portion of Pancian-Adams Road in the town of Adams, Ilocos Norte.

DPWH Regional Office Director Ronnel M. Tan said that the completed road improvement project was implemented by the DPWH Ilocos Norte 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) along a 7.34-kilometer portion of Pancian-Adams Road in Barangay Adams.

A 3-storey multipurpose building was completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) which now serves as the office building of the Manila Police District (MPD) Police Station 8, Police Community Precinct 3, also known as the V. Mapa Police Community Precinct.

In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan reported the recent inauguration of the new police building, located along Peralta Street cor. V. Mapa, in Barangay 599, Sta Mesa, Manila.
