Bored Piling Works Signal Progress in Samal Island - Davao City Connector Project

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started the civil works construction of deep foundations for the land and marine viaducts of the 4.07-kilometer Samal Island - Davao City Connector (SIDC) Project.

DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain, in his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, said that the project is proceeding the construction phase both in Davao and Samal side with the commencement of bored piling activities crucial for ensuring the stability and integrity of the bridge structure.

DPWH Opens C-5-Quirino Flyover in Las Piñas City

The 680-meter flyover project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) connecting Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) to Quirino Highway in Las Piñas City was recently completed and is now open for the motoring public.

In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Assistant Secretary Nerie D. Bueno and DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan said that the project dubbed C-5-Quirino Flyover was formally opened with a ceremonial inauguration held Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Traversing Sitio Kiuntod in Barangay Camp I, Maramag, to Barangay Pinamaloy in Don Carlos, Bukidnon, the 1.76-lane kilometer road now serves in the delivery of agricultural products and mobility of locals in the area.
