The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is working on the completion of the Alegria-Bangkito Road Project to facilitate more convenient travel leading to Kabangkalan Coffee Plantation in Barangay Alegria and Barangay Bangkito, Tuburan, Cebu.

DPWH Regional Office 7 Director Ernesto S. Gregorio, Jr., in his update to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, stated that the road project implemented by the Cebu 3rd District Engineering Office is 90 percent completed and targeted to finish this July 2024.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the upgrading works along sections of Guimaras Circumferential Road in Nueva Valencia and Buenavista.

According to DPWH Region 6 Director Sanny Boy Oropel, the project covers the widening of an 800-meter section of the major road along Barangay La Paz, Nueva Valencia, and the installation of a road slope protection along a landslide-prone section in Barangay Sto. Rosario, Buenavista.

A 168-lineal meter seawall project completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) now benefits the residents of the coastal Barangay Poblacion, Banton, Romblon.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, Regional Office IV-B Director Gerald A. Pacanan said that the completed Phase 2 of a coastal infrastructure project which include an elevated road, sidewalk, precast curb, and gutter, with street lights currently protects the coastal barangay from storm surge, while providing a scenic alternate route for the motorists in the area.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a preventive maintenance work along a portion of Governor Joaquin J. Linao Road to provide better travel experience to locals and tourists in Bagac, Bataan.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, said that a 2.1-kilometer section of Gov. J.J. Linao Road in Barangay Banawang, Bagac town was improved by DPWH Bataan Sub-District Engineering Office (DEO).
