Phase 2 of Ciudad de Victoria Bypass Road Almost Done

The Manila North Road in Bocaue, Bulacan will be soon connected to the town of Sta Maria without passing the busy Governor F. Halili Road.

In his report to Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino said that Phase 2 of the Ciudad de Victoria interchange Bypass Road is nearing completion.

Regional Director Tolentino said that the P501.5-Million second phase is also the last phase to fully-realize the benefits of the bypass road project.

P63-M Flood Control Structure in Echague, Isabela Halfway Complete

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has been working to complete by July 2021 a flood control structure along the Cagayan River’s Barangay Annafunan section in Echague, Isabela.

This was reported to Secretary Mark A. Villar by OIC-District Engineer Jocelyn P. Palaeg of the DPWH Isabela 4th District Engineering Office (DEO), saying that the project has already posted more than 50 percent actual accomplishment to date.

According to Secretary Villar, the ongoing project includes the construction of a 444 linear meter gabion type flood control structure.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a 905-meter road connectivity for industry and trade development in Lasam, Cagayan Province.

In her report to DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Regional Office 2 Director Loreta M. Malaluan said that the newly-paved 2-lane road was constructed in intermittent sections of Barangays Aggunetan, Calapangan Norte, Calapangan Sur, Tagao, and Viga to further fuel investments to flourishing investments to the coconut, banana and citrus plantations ib these areas

DPWH Hires Additional 1,013 Engineers Under the Build Build Build Program and Regularizes More Job Order Employees amid Covid 19 Pandemic

The Build, Build, Build (BBB) Program program of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administration not only build roads, bridges, and other public infrastructure to spur economic development but also provided employment opportunities to the Filipino people amid the Cohid 19 pandemic.

Secretary Mark A. Villar announced that 1,013 engineer positions coterminous with BBB Program were filled-up nationwide with 634 male and 379 female.

DPWH Free Bus Ride Program serves East of Manila route

Shuttle buses of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) are providing today, March 31, 2020 free bus service operation for health workers in the East Area Route 14 and 16 as assigned by the Deparment of Transportation.

The East Area Route 14 traverses SM City Taytay, SM City East Ortigas, The Medical City (Ortigas), Robinsons Galleria, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, SM City Sta Mesa, Delos Santos Medical Center, and St. Luke’s Medical Center (E. Rodriguez).
