The Department of Public Works and Highyways (DPWH) is pushing for the completion of Almeria Bypass Road in Biliran Province before the end of the year.
DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the ongoing 1.262-kilometer bypass road project with 2-meter bridge is now under second and final phase and is being fast-tracked by the DPWH Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO).

Additional quarantine/isolation facilities at the Davao airport are being constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways for arriving air passengers.

“DPWH officials are in talks with the stakeholders to guarantee that we are addressing environmental concerns and doubts of the project before we begin design and construction activities targeted by January 2021,” said Secretary Villar.
