Aquino Jr. National Highway, formerly known as the Compostela-Cateel Road - a vital road infrastructure connecting the provinces of Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has finished the construction of two (2) retaining walls to help mitigate flooding in Barangay Highway and Barangay San Rafael, Dulag, Leyte.
The flood mitigation structures along the Calbasag River, were built to block the overflow of water from the river into the road and prevent soil erosion along the riverbanks.
Completed in April 2025, the ₱84.4-million project covers the construction of a total of 376.6 linear meters of flood control structures with a height of 5.8 meters and driven with structural sheet piles.
