New 3-Storey Bldg Facility Underway for Seniors in Malabon City

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is currently constructing a P19.39-million multipurpose building that would cater to the needs of senior citizens of Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City.

DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta Malaluan, in her report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, said that the DPWH Malabon-Navotas District Engineering Office (DEO) has accomplished 72.34 percent in the construction of the Tugatog Senior Citizens Multipurpose Building Project which is targeted to be completed and opened within the second quarter of the year.

2 Flood Control Structures Completed in Baybay, Abuyog, Leyte

The low-lying communities of Barangay Balinsasayao in Abuyog and Barangay San Isidro in Baybay, Province of Leyte are now protected from flooding with the completion of two (2) flood control structures by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Leyte 5th District Engineer Eusebio T. Culas said that the projects were implemented to mitigate the devastating effects of flooding and soil erosion to people, their households, and the surrounding farmlands.

2 Flood Control Structures Completed in Baybay, Abuyog, Leyte

The ongoing multi-purpose building (MPB) construction is aimed at expanding the existing infrastructure facilities of the Ricardo P. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital (RPRMH) to provide accessible, affordable, and efficient medical care to residents of Bacolor and those coming from neighboring towns.
