3 Flood Control Structures Protect Communities Near Nueva Ecija's Major Rivers
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed three (3) flood mitigation projects along Talavera and Pampanga Rivers in the province of Nueva Ecija.
DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing reports from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, said that the DPWH Nueva Ecija First and Second District Engineering Offices (DEOs) have constructed a total of 1.03 kilometers of flood control structures in the towns of Talavera and San Fernando, respectively.
