DPWH MOSED Gears Toward iSO 9001:2008 Certification

MOSED is now geared towards the enhancement of quality infrastructure facilities and services responsive to the needs of the Filipino people. Last December 1, 2015 a grand launching of the ISO Certification journey was held at Misamis Oriental 2nd grounds. Part of the program was the unveiling of the new logo as the symbol of the journey and oath taking for deeper and more sincere commitment in every preparation.

Government Needs More Competent Contractors

The Department of Public Works and Highways is in need of more qualified and well equipped contractors to carry out the proposed P357 Billion worth of projects in the 2016 national spending plan for public infrastructure development.

DPWH allocation for infrastructure for 2016 has increased by 30% or P84 Billion from the P273.9 Billion budget in 2015 as part of the government’s determined efforts to further boost the infrastructure investment.

DPWH Welcomes Third Batch of Cadet Engineers

Forty-four (44) young civil engineers, 29 male and 15 female, were chosen as the members of the third batch of Cadet Engineering Program (CEP) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in partnership with First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA). No less than officials of the DPWH led by Secretary Rogelio L. Singson welcomed the new batch of cadets who will undergo a 6-month intensive training program before they join the DPWH workforce.
