Improved local roads by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) now enable better connectivity and safer mobility to far-flung areas in Isabela, Negros Occidental.

Costing P8.8 million, the project in Barangay Mansablay involves the construction of a 1.24-kilometer, 2-lane concrete road in Sitio Osvalfina with reconstruction of 571-lineal meter shoulders on both sides and slope protection structures in selected areas.

Locals in two (2) towns of Aurora are reaping the benefits of two (2) road projects and two (2) flood control structures completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In his reports to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino identified the Municipalities of Dipaculao and Maria Aurora as the recipient towns of P19.6-million road improvement works and P58.8-million slope protection constructions along sections of the Pacugao River.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) flood mitigation projects along sections of Peñaranda River in General Tinio and Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija.

DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, in his reports to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary for Central Luzon Operations Roberto R. Bernardo, said that flood wall structures that will protect communities were completed along the Peñaranda River in Barangay Rio Chico, General Tinio and Barangay Sinasajan, Peñaranda.

The Department of Public Works (DPWH) has entered a contract agreement with China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) for the construction of Davao River Bridge also known as Bucana Bridge in Davao City.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan has officially approved the ₱3.126 Billion civil works contract signed by DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain and CRBC General Manager Ren Xiaopeng for the construction of a four (4)-lane bridge and approaches with a total length of 1,340-lineal meter funded under China-Aid Grant.
