Access road to tourist destinations in Alaminos, Pangasinan underway

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is currently undertaking road opening works for a new access road leading to Lucap Boulevard and Mangrove Park in Barangay Bued, Alaminos City, Province of Pangasinan.

In a report submitted by DPWH Pangasinan First District Engineer Marieta B. Mendoza, DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar cited that the on-going P79.8-million project is being implemented under Phase 3 of a multi-year program.

Road widened to 4 lanes in Quirino Province

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has delivered the completion of its 1.76 kilometer road development along Cordon-Aurora Boundary Road, Quirino Province.

District Engineer Marifel T. Andres of DPWH Quirino District Engineering Office reported the improvement and widening of Cordon – Aurora Boundary Road (Isabela Boundary – Junction Dumabato) in the municipalities of Diffun and Cabarroguis.

DPWH builds 3 TESDA Buildings in Bukidnon

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed three (3) Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) multi-purpose buildings in the province of Bukidnon.

Citing a report from DPWH Bukidnon 1st DEO District Engineer Alberto L. Cainghog, Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the buildings were constructed in the municipalities of Impasugong, Cabanglasan, and Lantapan.

“These projects aim to bring education that will eventually improve livelihood opportunities with the increase of skilled workers in the area,” said Secretary Villar.

Silay-Lantawan Road widening in Negros Occidental halfway complete

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Negros Occidental 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) reported 57.05 percent completion of the ongoing Silay-Lantawan Road Widening Project in Silay City, Negros Occidental.

According to DPWH Negros Occidental 1st DEO District Engineer Jaime SJ. Javellana, the road widening project spanning 2.46 kilometers is being fast-tracked for completion this year.

Biliran gets P1-B Infra Projects for 2020

The government has allocated a total of P1-B for the implementation of 75 infrastructure projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in various areas of Biliran this year 2020.

According to Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) District Engineer David Adongay Jr., projects funded under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 includes P400.8-Million allocation for various infrastructure projects under the Local Infrastructure Program.

DPWH completes P96.5-M river-control project in Batangas City ahead of schedule

A newly-completed 360-meter retaining wall now protects residents along Calumpang River in Barangay Gulod Labac and Barangay Pallocan West, Batangas City.

In his report to Public Works Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Batangas 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) District Engineer Sonia D. Paglicauan said that a P96.5 million river wall project was completed almost five (5) months ahead of its target accomplishment and now serves hundreds of families living close to the river.
