27 Roads in Luzon Still Closed as of July 28

Maintenance crew and equipment of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) are still working on 27 road sections closed to traffic due to Super Typhoon “Egay”.

Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan has instructed the Quick Response Team of DPWH offices with jurisdiction on typhoon-affected areas to work round-the-clock for the immediate restoration of connectivity so that necessary goods and government aid will reach the people.

27 Road Sections in Luzon Impassable Due to ‘Egay’

As of 6:00 AM Thursday, July 27, 2023, a total of 27 road sections have been identified impassable in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley Region, and Central Luzon due Super Typhoon “Egay”.

Based on Reports from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bureau of Maintenance, the following roads in CAR and Regions I, II, and III are closed:
