DPWH Builds Flood Control Structure Along Lagawe River in Ifugao
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a vital infrastructure project aimed at safeguarding lives, properties, and agricultural lands in Lagawe, Ifugao.
In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Region CAR Director Khadaffy Tanggol said that the completed flood control project at the Tungngod Side and Baliwong Flood Structure along the Lagawe River is a 1.59-kilometer-long, 5-meter-high retaining wall with 3-meter reinforced concrete top, and grouted riprap, fortifying the embankment against erosions.
