DPWH to Complete 44 Bed Facility for COVID Moderate to Severe Cases at Quezon Institute this December

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A Villar declared that the government continue to cope with the health crisis by providing enough and timely infrastructure support in the fight versus COVID-19.

Using modular components, our DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Healthcare Facilities is building pop-up hospital that will be used to augment the existing COVID-19 isolation facilities at Quezon Institute in E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City, said Secretary Villar.

DPWH Provides 2 Improved Roads in Support of Uniformed Men in Zamboanga

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) road reconstruction projects benefiting uniformed personnel from various military camps and headquarters in Zamboanga Region.

According to Public Works and Highway Secretary Mark A. Villar, said road improvement projects include the P18.48-million concreting of 101 Brigade Camp del Pilar Circumferential Road in Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte and the repair of damaged paved road sections of Southern Command Main Road in Zamboanga City.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road preventive maintenance works in Quezon City this weekend with the given clearance by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that concrete reblocking will be carried out by the DPWH Quezon City 2nd District Engineering Office team starting at 11 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 along Ortigas – Granada Road, from N. Domingo to Colonel Bonny Serrano Avenue, after Ortigas-Granada Bridge, fronting Sampaguita Pictures going to RCBC, 1st and 2nd lane from the sidewalk.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road preventive maintenance works in Quezon City this weekend with the given clearance by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

DPWH Secretary Mark A. 2 New Isolation Facilities Converted in Pangasinan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the conversion of two (2) buildings into quarantine facilities to be used by COVID-19 patients in Burgos and Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.

Based on a report from DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel M. Tan, DPWH Secretary and Isolation Czar Mark A. Villar announced that the repurposing of Pangasinan Reformation Center in the Municipality of Burgos and the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG) Building into isolation facilities was completed.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark A. Villar announced that the widening of Angad Bridge in Aglipay, Quirino will be completed this month of December 2020.

“We are fast-tracking the completion of the Angad Bridge widening despite the recent typhoons as these additional lanes on both sides are expected to ease congestion and improve delivery of services in the province”, said Secretary Villar.
